Refund Policy

Refund Policy
Effective Date: April 22, 2025

At Marsol Lawyers & Consultants, we are committed to providing high-quality legal and consulting services with integrity and professionalism. Due to the nature of legal work — which often involves substantial time, research, and preparation — our refund policy is outlined below.

1. Consultation Fees

Fees paid for initial consultations (whether in-person, virtual, or by phone) are non-refundable unless:

  • The appointment was canceled at least 24 hours in advance, or

  • We were unable to attend the appointment or provide the service as scheduled

2. Retainers and Legal Service Fees

When you engage our firm, we may require an upfront retainer or full payment in advance for certain services. These funds may be considered earned once work commences.

Refunds will only be considered under the following circumstances:

  • The firm has not yet begun substantive work on your case or project

  • You request a refund in writing within 5 business days of payment

  • There is a clear overpayment or billing error

In all cases, we reserve the right to deduct for any work already completed, time spent, or expenses incurred.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Certain services are non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Filing fees paid to courts or government agencies

  • Completed legal documents or submissions

  • Advisory opinions and legal letters already issued

  • Time-based consulting sessions already rendered

4. Cancellations and Postponements

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked appointment or service, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may result in forfeiture of fees or a rescheduling fee.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please send a written request with:

  • Your full name and contact information

  • A description of the service purchased

  • The reason for your request

We will respond within 7 business days of receiving your request.

6. Final Decision

All refund decisions are at the discretion of Marsol Lawyers & Consultants and will be made in good faith. We strive to be fair and transparent, and we appreciate your understanding of the nature of legal services.
